ORGANIC MANURE
Organic fertilizers are a type of carbon-rich fertilizer that occurs naturally. Fertilizers are substances that are applied to provide nutrients to soil and plants and maintain growth. Organic fertilizers include mineral sources, all animal waste, liquid compost, guano, plant-based fertilizers such as: compost, biosolids.
There are also other inorganic and non-chemical fertilizers that adhere to the principles of organic farming, which can be used in commercial organic farming. Organic fertilizers Fertilizers are obtained from the body of an organism, i.e. from the remains of plants or animals. For example: dung manure, green manure, Khail etc. Almost all plant nutrients are organic fertilizers.
Some of the major fertilizer sources are: – Livestock wastes from biogas plants such as manure, dung, slurry. Agricultural wastes like crop residues, garbage, straw, stalks, dry leaves etc.
Abattoir wastes such as blood meal, bone meal, meat meal, fish waste, horn meal and hoof meal. Water tank waste like silt, weeds, water hyacinth etc. Agro-based industrial wastes such as bagasse, oil cake, corn meal, press mud, wheat straw, fruit and vegetable processing waste, wheat husk, mushroom compost etc. Poultry waste like droppings, excess feed etc.
